O-phenylenediamine
Brief introduction
O-phenylenediamine is an aromatic amine with the molecular formula C6H4 (NH2) 2. It is one of the isomers of diphenylamine. Two amino groups are adjacent to the benzene ring (1,2 -). The other two isomers are m-phenylenediamine and p-phenylenediamine. O-phenylenediamine is obtained by sodium sulfide reduction or catalytic hydrogenation reduction of o-nitroaniline. It can form water-soluble salts with many inorganic acids.
